Fort Knox Moorabbin has convenient drive up access to the door of most storage units. Our facility has a large range of storage sizes from small lockers to large double garage sized units. Most importantly, the storage facility has 24 hour monitored security. In addition, each storage unit is protected by our unique Fortress Locking System.

We also have an on-site packing centre with a range of low priced moving boxes and packing supplies.

The goods trolley could benefit from being larger, an the goods lift a little slow, BUT the customer service FAR outweighs these minor issues, compared to other companies. Their pricing is also excellent, and often have the 2 for one storage specials. Would not store my goods anywhere else. Great security, cheap insurance and 24 hour surveillance. Unprofessional, Unreliable, and Completely Disrespectful My experience with Fort Knox Storage was an absolute nightmare. After moving into my storage unit, I was blindsided when they informed me that they wanted... read more to relocate my belongings to Dandenong due to a commercial redevelopment. This kind of redevelopment is typically planned years in advance..not weeks, so they clearly knew about this when I signed up but failed to disclose it. To paint the picture, I’m a solo mum who had planned to housesit in Bayside for up to a year, something I made clear to them from the start. I chose this location specifically for easy, regular access to my belongings, yet just five weeks after moving in, they relocated my belongings and I had to trust that all was going to be arranged as I’d asked for. Even taking the time to label items for them so I could access after. I was just about to visit my family overseas for the first time in 12 years and When I returned from overseas, I was met with another shock. I had no idea where my belongings were as it was relocated in a completely different to how I’d planned. I had to spend money replacing essential items for work and home because I simply couldn’t access my own things. On top of that, I was now left having to trust that everything was still there, with no real way of knowing until I eventually moved out of the unit. Then, to add insult to injury, they increased my rent by $110 per month, a steep, unjustified hike given the utter lack of professionalism and basic service. Hoping to address the situation, I wrote a thoughtful letter expressing my disappointment and concerns. Instead of acknowledging anything I shared, they completely ignored my experience and sent me a generic response with tips on how to vacate my storage unit. No apology. No accountability. Just another demonstration of their disregard for their customers. If you’re looking for a storage facility that values honesty, transparency, and respect for their customers, Fort Knox Storage is NOT the place. Their lack of integrity, poor communication, and outright negligence turned what should have been a straightforward service into an expensive and deeply frustrating ordeal. Avoid them at all costs.

We had a last minute... read more hiccup with a rental property, had picked up the keys to rental property only to be told it was deemed unsafe and couldn’t move in, I had to get everything out of my current property asap but with nowhere to live. Nigel & Stacey came to the rescue and helped solve my storage problems with ease and understanding. Couldn’t fault their professionalism & good nature. Thanks for making me feel supported. Excellent customer service which is hard to come by these days. Whether in person or on the phone they are friendly and helpful. I only removed a star due to a couple of increases to my storage fees over the 3 year period. Other than that highly recommend

15percent increase out of the blue starting January 2024. Guess they wait till you’re fully moved in to jack up the rates. They continued to increase rates we started at $130... read more per month for a very Inconvenient stair access unit. Every month they increased the price to finally hitting $257. A 97% rent increase in one year is absurd I would be very cautious about moving into this storage unit.
