With budgets generally being a little bit tighter these days, good value for money is important when shopping for anything, including storage units. At Fort Knox Self Storage, our goal is to only have happy customers, so we like to add a lot of free extras for anyone moving into storage. Some people may think that we add this to the cost of the storage unit to get our money back, but the opposite is true. We will match any competitor’s price on the same sized storage unit.

What are all of these added extras that I get for free, you ask? How much does it cost to rent a moving van? Nothing, zero dollars, you can use our move-in vans for free to put your things into storage (there are some terms & conditions). All you have to do is fill it up with diesel when you return it. Want more? Your storage unit comes with a free padlock too. Okay, you can have a free month of storage protection cover on top of all of that*.

What about all of the other fees?

Sometimes it’s the things that we don’t do that make us better value than the others. We don’t believe in administration and booking fees, so you don’t pay them. Unlike others, we don’t charge you a cleaning fee or bond either. We don’t even charge a cancellation fee if you change your mind. You can book a storage unit safe in the knowledge that if your situation changes, you won’t be left out of pocket.
